Why this tour is called the best of Pakistan tour because it covers almost all major tourist attractions of Pakistan. It covers the South of Pakistan by visiting Karachi and Thatta etc and then takes us to the plains of Punjab by visiting the important archaeological sites of Pakistan like Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort and the tomb of Jahangir. This tour will also take you to the most beautiful valley of Hunza in the north of Pakistan.
Day O1: Karachi Arrival
We will be received by our company representative at Karachi airport. After traditional welcome we will be transferred to hotel and check in. In the afternoon we will go for city tour of Karachi visiting Quaid’s tomb and National Museum. Stay in hotel at Karachi.
Day 02: Karachi – Thatta – Karachi (102km/ one way)
Today we will set off for full day excursion to Thatta, en route we will visit Chaokundi Graves, Makli Graveyard and also visit Shah Jehan Mosque in Thatta. Stay in hotel at Karachi.
Day 03: Karachi – Multan (By Air)
After breakfast we will depart for Multan by air (mostly in morning time but may also go in the afternoon). Up on arrival at Multan we will be transferred to hotel and check in. Stay in hotel at Multan.
Day 04: Multan
First half of the day, we will visit the tombs of Shah Rukne Alam, Baha ud Din Zakria, Shams Tabrez and in the afternoon the bazaar of Hussaina Ghai. We will also visit the workshop for the famous Multani Pottery that is Multan famous for. Stay in hotel at Multan.
Day 05: Multan – Harappa – Pak Pattan – Lahore (350km)
Today we will depart for Lahore, en-route at Harappa (Sahiwal) we will visit the sites of old Harappa culture and the Museum and also visit the tomb of Hazrat Baba Farid Shakarganj at Pak Pattan and then continue to Lahore. Stay in hotel at Lahore.
Day 06: Lahore
In the morning we will start full day sightseeing tour of Lahore by first visiting Lahore fort, Badshahi Mosque and the tomb of Jehangir. We will also visit the old part of Lahore and also visit the Wazir Khan Mosques located in Delhi Darwaza (Delhi Gate). In the afternoon we will visit Shalimar garden. Tonight we have dinner out in the old part of Lahore city. Stay in hotel at Lahore.
Day 07: Lahore – Salt Mine – Islamabad (375km if via Motorway/ 280km if via GT Road)
In the morning, we will depart for Islamabad via motorway. Our first visit is of Khewra Salt Mine (the largest mine of the world) at Khewra, afterwards in the afternoon we continue to Islamabad via Motorway. Stay in hotel at Islamabad.
Day 08: Islamabad
It is full day for sightseeing tour of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. We will first visit Shakarparian (the view point) and then the Faisal Mosque. In the afternoon, we will visit truck painting workshop in Rawalpindi. Stay in hotel at Islamabad.
Day 09: Islamabad – Besham (270km)
In the morning we will depart for Besham via Karakoram Highway (the longest mountain route). We will also visit Taxila en route, visit the ruins and the museum (famous for Ghandara collections). Stay in hotel at Besham.
Day 10: Besham – Gilgit (335km)
Today we have a fascinating drive for the whole day on KKH, en route view the mighty Nanga Parbat (8125m) and witness the old rock drawings at Shatial. Up on arrival transfer to hotel and check in. Stay in hotel at Gilgit.
Day 11: Gilgit – Karimabad (Hunza) (120km)
Before leaving Gilgit, we will visit the bazaar of Gilgit and then continue for a panoramic tour to Karimabad, en route tea stop in front of Rakaposhi (7788m). Up on arrival we will be transferred to hotel and check in. In the afternoon we will walk through Karimabad Village or free at leisure. Stay in hotel at Karimabad.
Day 12: Karimabad – Nagar – Karimabad (16km)
This is full day to explore the panoramic valley of Hunza. First we will visit Baltit Fort, and then we will take jeep tour to Nagar Valley (16km) to see Hoper Glacier over there. Stay in hotel at Karimabad.
Day 13: Karimabad – Gulmit (30km)
In the morning, we will leave for Gulmit, en route enjoy boat ride on Attabad Lake, up on arrival transfer to hotel and check in. After lunch break, we will go for hiking tour of Gulmit village, also see Borit Lake and then a short walk along Passu Glacier. Stay in hotel at Gulmit.
Day 14: Gulmit – Khunjerab Pass – Gulmit (260km)
Today we will depart for Khunjerab Pass excursion (5000m/ the highest mountain pass) with picnic lunch at the Pass. We will also witness some wild life while driving through National Khunjerab Pass. Stay in hotel at Gulmit.
Day 15: Gulmit – Gilgit (150km)
We will depart for Gilgit, en route view again Rakaposhi (Peak) and enjoy tea break. Up on arrival we will be transferred to hotel and check in. In the afternoon we will go to visit the traditional bazaar of Gilgit. Stay in hotel at Chilas.
Day 16: Gilgit – Islamabad (By Air)
Today we will depart for Gilgit Airport to catch the morning flight to Islamabad with an opportunity to see the magnificent aerial view of Nanga Parbat that is subject to weather (8126m). Up on arrival we will check in hotel. In the afternoon we will go for shopping tour in the city. Stay in hotel at Islamabad.
Day 17: Islamabad – Murree – Bhurbon – Islamabad (70km one way)
We will go for full day excursion for Murree Hills (the largest summer resort of Pakistan), tea break at Bhurbon in one of the most beautiful resorts of Pakistan. Stay in hotel at Islamabad.
Day 18: Islamabad – Airport (Flight Out)
After breakfast we will depart for Islamabad airport to catch the flight back home. End of the services from Pakistan Tourism.
